Terminal 1 main building with old control tower. PS: The tower caught fire twice, too!

I finally got an aerial picture of Terminal 1 of Subang. As you can see, the renovation added two more 'wings'. The original building is that big rectangle at the center. Sigh, now its all gone, the mushroom columns and the grand architecture of Malaysia's first international airport.

If you ever drive past that place, keep a lookout for any new constructions there. Last time I saw, it was a piece of empty land.

I found this old pic of the former Terminal 1 at Subang. This was our international airport before the current KLIA. The building shown here was the original terminal building before the addition of two more 'wings' spreading out to the left and right. Before its closure in 1998, the terminal had 14 aerobridge gates.
